Sheridan Skips, the family-owned waste management company, is proud to reiterate its steadfast commitment to supporting the local Lancashire community. To further this commitment, Sheridan have partnered with Derian House Children’s Hospice for the Easter season.
Derian House Children’s Hospice is an organisation that provides free respite and end-of-life care to children and young people whose lives are too short. The hospice operates 24/7 and provides care to more than 400 children and young people across the North West. Derian House offers a range of services, including palliative care, respite stays, day care, holidays, and end-of-life support.
Sheridan Skips is spreading the joy this Easter by organising a chocolate egg charity drive. They announced a company-wide collection of eggs and other sweet treats from all employees and customers. Sheridan Skips’ Operations manager Ben swapped his role in the depot for his role as Easter Bunny, delivering chocolate eggs to the incredible team over at Derian House. The charity drive will ensure every child at Derian House receives a sweet treat this Easter.
As a family business, Sheridan Skips is committed to supporting local organisations and strengthening their community. The team in Lancashire have been working on various charitable projects throughout the year, and will continue to look for ways to make a positive impact.
This charitable drive is a testament to Sheridan Skips’ commitment to social responsibility and its long-standing efforts to support local charities. The company hopes that by partnering with Derian House, it can raise awareness of the vital work they do and to encourage others to get involved.
Anthony Sheridan, the Managing Director of the Sheridan Group and CEO of Sheridan Skips, said, “As a Burnley based skip company, we believe it is our duty to contribute to our immediate community. We take great pride in supporting local charities and are thrilled to bring a smile to the faces of the children at Derian House Children’s Hospice.”
